Accessibility

Expert Drone Reviews aims to be accessible to all readers, including those using assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation.

Our standard

The site aims to conform to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.

What we have done

All images include descriptive alt text. The site uses a clear heading structure on every page, with one H1 per page and subheadings in logical order. Text and background colours meet the minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio required under WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Links use descriptive text rather than generic phrases. The site does not use auto-playing audio or video.

Known limitations

Some older articles may contain images with incomplete alt text. These are being updated on a rolling basis. Video content embedded from external platforms is subject to those platforms’ own accessibility provisions.

How to report an issue

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us via the contact page. Include the page URL, a description of the barrier, and the assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within five working days.
